In these two sessions we are writing the first eight bars of a Menuetto based on a model from Haydn. This is a really good way to get inside a style and it would not be a bad idea to do more or less the same thing for your take-away paper.
In the third and final week on Haydn we will look at completing the rest of the Menuetto and discuss string writing in a little more depth. You will need the completed exercise from these two weeks for the final session.
